Working field:
Contribute to the research and teaching of Software and Business Engineering (SBE) research group. SBE researches new solutions and approaches in the following areas: (1) business process management (BPM) and automation, (2) process mining and business analytics, and (3) the analysis of blockchain applications as well as their use in BPM.

Tasks include:
- Supervision of courses (e.g, business processes, process mining), as well as seminars and theses
- Preparation of scientific publications and participation in conferences
- Support in the acquisition of third-party funding
- Participation in organizational tasks of the department
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent), in computer science or similar fields (.g., computer science, information systems engineering/management, or related areas); preferably with very good marks
- Interest in scientific qualification (Ph.D.)
- Interest in Business Process Management, analysis and automation of business processes, and development of new software designs and solutions
- In-depth studies or other experiences in at least two of the following areas: (1) Software Engineering for Information Systems, (2) Business Analytics (incl. Operations Management), (3) Business Process Management, (4) Process Mining
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good written and oral language skills in English and German, at least at the level C1 for both languages; The ability to teach in German as well as in English is required
- Good programming skills in at least one programming language, preferably Python, Java or R
