Scientific participation in the above-mentioned subject in the academic coordination within the framework of the Transnational Center for Just Transitions in Energy, Climate & Sustainability (TRAJECTS) project. Trajects has three regional hubs and a global network of over 40 institutions from civil society, science, think tanks, public administration and business. The project aims to support and strengthen transcontinental exchange, research and education on various "sustainbility changes". Accordingly, the main task of the advertised position is to facilitate a South-South-North exchange and capacity-building with a strong inter- and transdisciplinary approach. A particular fovus ist on Colombia, which, due to it´s high coal exports, is uniquly affected by structural change.

• Successfully completed university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) in engineering, economics or similar
• Good knowledge in the area of "Just Transition" and coal phase-out
• Very good Spanish language skills (both spoken and written)
• Intercultural competence (e.g., between the Global South and North) ist an advantage
• Experience in conducting international research or exchange projects is a plus
• Ability to work in a team
• Good command of German and/or English is required; willingness to learn either English or German is expected
