Weimar Institute of Applied Construction Research is an innovative and successfully operating research institute close to the economy with focus on the development of new devices, processes and materials for the construction industry. We are looking for a Research Associate (m/f/d) for our Intelligent Systems department at the Process Engineering research division. The department deals with the analysis and development of automated measurement and control technology using artificial intelligence methods.

- Processing of research projects and industrial orders
- Implementation of algorithms and functions on mobile devices
- Software Development and Code Maintenance
- UI and UX conception and integration
Requirements:
- Successfully completed studies (bachelor, master, diploma) in the STEM field
- Programming skills e.g. in Python, C#, Kotlin, JAVA, Swift or ObjectiveC
- Experience in robotics, image processing, embedded systems, deep learning or cloud services is an advantage
- Ability to communicate and work in a team
- Good written and spoken German and English language skills
